The 2-day King of Beasts varsity tournament lived up to its title. 26 teams from all over California and Arizona came to Mater Dei Catholic High School. 2 Nighthawks Wrestlers battled and achieved podium success. Andrei Sol (132) and Matthew Holloway (138) both each achieved podium positions. They both missed the medal round by 1 match, yet earned 8th place finishes. Their accomplishments exceeded expectation, as each weight class had depth of quality varsity competitors. Their hard-earned podium finishes will have significant positive impact on upcoming tournament seeding.
